May 23 pledge update

As of Thursday, May 23, we have received the following pledges:

2nd grade CSR
$28,445 from 67 individuals & families

• 1 Alisal family
• 8 Donlon families
• 1 Fairlands teacher
• 11 Hearst families
• 1 Lydiksen family
• 5 Mohr families
• 5 Valley View families
• 10 Vintage Hills families
• 24 Walnut Grove teachers/families
• 1 community member not affiliated with a school site

We have also received $4,300 in pledges for K CSR (2 Hearst, 1 Lydiksen, 2 Valley View, 7 Walnut Grove) and $3,525 in pledges for 3rd grade CSR (1 Alisal, 2 Donlon, 2 Hearst, 1 Valley View, 8 Walnut Grove).

Thank you so much to everyone who has pledged and to everyone who has been spreading the word about this CSR pledge campaign to family and friends.

Pledge campaign highlights

• We now have pledges from every elementary school site in Pleasanton!
• One Vintage Hills family has even recruited grandparents and great-grandparents to pledge their support for 2nd grade CSR!
• We have added links at the top of the page for the online pledge form, a list of school site contacts, and a list of CSR supporters.
• We are still looking for volunteer school site contacts from Fairlands and Mohr. Thank you to those who have volunteered to serve as school site contacts for the other elementary schools!

Please continue to help spread the word about this pledge campaign to your family and friends, and please urge everyone to make their pledges ASAP.

Even if we are unable to reach our pledge goal of $325,000 for 2nd grade CSR, the more broad support that we can show for elementary CSR, the more compelling of a case that we can present to the school board. Please help us show the school board that CSR is a priority for our community and should be a priority for them as well.
